Alice Zic, MPH, LCSW specializes in working with tweens, adolescents, and adults and takes a relational approach, joining with each individual to build a foundation of safety and connection within the therapeutic relationship. She incorporates play therapy and trauma-informed approaches to provide culturally responsive mental health care. She values the connection between the mind and body throughout these techniques.
Alice works with individuals who have faced the unimaginable, who feel steeped in shame, exhausting themselves to make everyone else happy, yet never feeling good enough. Alice bridges the gap between echoes of past hurts and relationships that feel fragile in the present. Alice supports individuals in getting unstuck in sticky, stressful moments, and empowers them to define their needs and repair. As a child of immigrants, Alice also works with individuals navigating the tender lines of acculturation and multicultural identity and belonging. She is bilingual in Bosnian/Croatian/Serbian.
Alice completed her Bachelor of Science in biology and neuroscience from Wake Forest University, her Master of Public Health (MPH) from George Washington University, and her Master of Social Work (MSW) from George Mason University.
Alice is available via telehealth only.
